Abstract

This article shows some of the results of a doctoral research whose object of study was the analysis of the processes of construction of difference and its relationship to inequality in the context of intercultural education in Spain and Mexico. We will present the theoretical framework that has supported the research and the analytical approach in which we position; we outline the methodology; we describe the case studies and finalize by presenting the most relevant results on the inclusion / exclusion of certain groups minoritized in the context of intercultural education in both contexts.

Inmaculada Antolínez Domínguez, Universidad Pablo de Olavide

Licenciada en Antropología Social y Cultural y Doctora por la Universidad Pablo de Olavide, España. Ha realizado trabajo de campo en el norte de Marruecos, la Amazonía peruana, Oaxaca en México y en Andalucía, España. Sus líneas de investigación principales son Educación Intercultural (y Bilingüe) tanto en España como América Latina, vinculada a los procesos de exclusión y desigualdad de colectivos minoritarios.
