The management of cultural diversity in Spain and Mexico: construction of difference and exclusion in intercultural education

This article shows some of the results of a doctoral research whose object of study was the analysis of the processes of construction of difference and its relationship to inequality in the context of intercultural education in Spain and Mexico. We will present the theoretical framework that has supported the research and the analytical approach in which we position; we outline the methodology; we describe the case studies and finalize by presenting the most relevant results on the inclusion / exclusion of certain groups minoritized in the context of intercultural education in both contexts.
