Abstract

This article investigates innovations in support systems for inclusive education in the context of technical high school education in Accounting, with a focus on the Lesson Study methodology. Our main objective is to analyze the impact of these innovations on student learning and their relevance to comprehensive education, particularly in mathematical operations applied to Accounting. We have explored and described pedagogical innovations, assessed their impact on student learning, and considered teachers' perceptions. Furthermore, we have evaluated the sustainability and scalability of these innovations. This work is derived from a master's thesis that laid the groundwork for this broader research. Our findings reveal that the Lesson Study methodology is effective in improving mathematical logical thinking and, consequently, student learning in Accounting. Additionally, we have identified challenges and solutions in mathematics teaching in this context. This study contributes to the knowledge of inclusive education and provides guidance for educators and policymakers interested in improving the quality of technical education.
