Current demands to the professionals of the Special Education in the Chilean context

The raising of professional profiles requires a searching of different sources. The following article shows the analysis of key texts and normative texts related to general education and its impact in special needs education. Also, this article identifies the challenges, purposes, professional sceneries and formative demands to the professional of this educational way. Social changes, cultural, political and disciplinary cores that are provoking an impact in educational roles and functions were identified to be considered in formative initial processes and in the later education.
