Abstract

This research work is seeking to bring about a description of the state of art with regard to the problematic in higher education with an intercultural nature in Mexico. First, we pretend clarifying the concept as well as the practice of the intercultural since there are different stands and perspectives which are controversial. In one second moment, we intent to describe the relations which are being established between intercultural and practical education. The last aim of this article is to describe the situation of a relatively recent educational model in the country, and about which there are few literature.

Jaime García Sánchez, Centro de Estudios e Investigación para el Desarrollo Docente

Es Doctor en Educación por la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, posee la Maestría en Comunicación y Tecnología Educativa por parte del Instituto Latinoamericano de la Comunicación Educativa (ILCE), y sus estudios de Licenciatura se efectuaron en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) en el ámbito de la psicología educativa. Actualmente se encuentra desarrollando estudios Postdoctorales en el área de curriculum, innovación pedagógica y formación, en el Centro de Estudios e Investigación para el Desarrollo Docente (CENID), ubicado en la ciudad de Guadalajara, México.

Patricia Jáuregui Arias, Centro de Estudios e Investigación para el Desarrollo Docente

Es Doctora en Educación por la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, posee la Maestría en Investigación Educativa por parte de la Universidad de Guanajuato y sus estudios de Licenciatura se efectuaron en la Normal Justo Sierra en el ámbito de la educación preescolar. Actualmente se encuentra desarrollando estudios Postdoctorales en el área de curriculum, innovación pedagógica y formación, en el Centro de Estudios e Investigación para el Desarrollo Docente (CENID), ubicado en la ciudad de Guadalajara, México.
