In the last decades, Spanish society has recognized rights and spaces for homosexual people, however, the initial training of teachers has not adapted to these changes. Colleges must offer training that favors respect for rights and equal treatment regardless of the characteristics of their students. This research is interested in analyzing the modern homonegativity of students of the degree in Elementary Education. On this research, 525 students responded to a questionnaire with sociodemographic questions and a modern homonegativity scale towards lesbian and gay people. The results showed less homonegativity in women, in non-religious students and in those who do not identify as heterosexual. Conclusions deal with the stability of attitudes with the development of the degree and the need to go deeper into initial teacher training on LGBTI diversity.
