In this paper are describe in a narrative way some key facts and conditions in the changing and developing process hold since this foundation – forty five years ago as an Special School for Deaf-, by the Colegio Hispano Americano de la Palabra in Madrid, until became an inclusive ordinary school called Colegio Gaudem, also in Madrid. This new ordinary school wants to develop an inclusive project in which deaf student remains in the core of it, through a share bilingual educative approach. Some lessons learned about this changing process in the educative perspective about deaf education are made explicit and take into consideration regarding the dilemmas the Colegio Gaudem has to face up to keep alive his aims, principles and values according within the new context.
