Inclusive intercultural training of teachers: Toward the social transformation
Keywords:
Intercultural inclusive education, Teacher training, Accion-researchAbstract
Inclusive intercultural education as a conceptual framework, it’s a model that understands school as a cultural crossroads and a privileged space for negotiation and dialogue. Hence, the dimensions, content and methodology for teacher training should focus on reflection about practice, sharing of experiences and professional and community development. In this sense, our training proposal, developed in two schools of Valencia, Spain, focuses on action research processes that make that school improvement becomes an inclusive and intercultural process. We have drawn relevant conclusions for teacher education and in-service training.
