Children out of school system: Violated right and unresolved commitment in Chilean Special Education

Abstract

This paper seeks to reveal the situation of exclution of drop out of school children. The problem is approached from an inclusive education scope and from the knowledge developed in this topic. First of all, we adress antecedents from a group of students with out of school experiences of exclution. Then, we analyse the barriers in special education chilean politcs that stand in the way of making visible this group of children and their particularities. Finally, we provide some ideas to remove these barriers and to collaborate to their school learning path from a special education perspective and guarantee their right to education.
