Abstract

First, the article describes some general aspects of the legal framework about the common education system and its forms (among which is the 'special education') in Argentina. Then the paper reflects critically about human differences and disability from fragments of national laws and resolutions, to address, then, curriculum guidelines related to teacher training. Finally, the article problematizes the education system’s divisions, as well as our representations about ethics and 'otherness'.

Andrea Verónica Pérez, Universidad Pedagógica de la Provincia de Buenos Aires

Doctora en Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO), y Licenciada y Magister en Educación. Actualmente se desempeña como docente e investigadora en la Universidad Pedagógica de la Provincia de Buenos Aires y en la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, donde dirige el Observatorio de la Discapacidad, como también proyectos de Extensión Universitaria. Fue becaria de la ANPCyT y CONICET. Temas de interés: discursos, normatividad, currículum, discapacidad, alteridad y ética en educación.
